I’m just a girl who likes to take photographs. Living in Newcastle, Ontario most of my life; I have the best of both worlds - small town country living with easy access to urban landscape.

With the emergence of the digital age, I purchased a Nikon D70 and a whole new world was opened to me. Digital photography allowed me to focus and fine tune my ‘eye’ and find a photographic ‘style’. Everything is a picture – My photographic style is finding beauty in the everyday objects that we pass by unnoticed.

The summer of 2004 my niece Josephine was born and yet another new world was opened to me - children’s photography was discovered. I love capturing the special everyday moments – the discovery of hands and feet, learning how to speak in sentences, the innocence of having an imaginary friend. I want to create an image that puts a smile on your face every time you look at it and remember this is who my child was on this day.

I enjoy photographing the world around me as I see it; within the lines, colours and details of an object, person or place.
